Great little hakka spot to eat . We always get for our staff Friday lunch. Lunch special is a steal of a deal here ..9.49 and 9.99 . Nothing beats its quantity and quality of food here .. Staff are very friendly and place is clean .
I love it here! The food is honestly amazing for the price. I've been eating here for years and recommend it to everyone in the area. They have a liquor license as well with a vast selection. The food and service is always an A. And the staff are so very friendly and helpful. I know so many people in the area that always come back for their great food. I highly recommend their General Tso's chicken if you don't mind a bit of spice. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxed, and i feel so welcomed every time I visit. Thank you!
One of the few old school chinese food spots. I am very happy I found this place. I was trying to find old-school canadian chinese food. Everywhere I looked up was hakka (not sure if that's the right spelling) chinese, which I'm not familiar with. I've only had takeout but even the decor is an old style restaurant, it's very cool. It's hard to say prices it all depends on what you're ordering.
Been eating here more than 5 years. MASSIVE PORTION, AUTHENTIC TASTE AND QUALITY, AND ALWAYS CONSISTENT. People with low reviews are the same to eat mcdonalds and expect 5 star meal.
Great value for what you get, especially the lunch specials. Food is as advertised on their menu. Not at all like those Westernized places you see in small town or that dredge served in food courts. At different times I had their Chicken Ho Fun and their Chili Chicken. Ho Fun had a definate wok hei flavour which surprised me as I didn't expect it. Had it again in multiple visits and it was still there. AMAZING! Chili Chicken was very good and had a little spicyness to it. You can get it a little spicier fir a small surcharge. By the way, the chicken in both were tender and jucy, showing off how fresh both were. This is fastly turning into my go-to place for both Cantonese and Haka takeout.
Absolutely, hands down, some of the most delicious Hakka food I've had!! Portion size was great for the lunch special, we got the (rather beautifully glazed) Garlic chili chicken with the Shanghai noodles and the large size chicken shrimp Thai soup. Both dishes were full of flavour and perfect for a great lunch. The large size of the soup is VERY large so it's worth the price. You can tell a lot of effort goes into making their foods delicious. If I could give the restaurant any advice: make the doorway larger for people who have accessibility issues and need accommodation and if the restaurant could have better interior decor it would elevate the experience. Definitely more of a take-out spot.
First time ordering from here, and I'll definitely be coming back. Quality food made fresh to order, friendly staff and reasonable prices.
The food was delicious, pricing is very affordable. Highly recommend the Chilli Chicken from this place. Portions were also huge. I struggled to finish all of my food which is a problem I rarely have!
